Wine Tasting Lunch: Thursday 26th May 2016

Our first wine tasting event of 2016 will be the introduction of our bio-dynamic, vegan and no added sulphate wines. We will compare these with wines from our regular list of the same grape and from the same countries . . . .

Sparkling white to start, followed by a bio-dynamic French Viognier and Yealand NZ Sauvignon Blanc suitable for vegans, also our Argentinian regular Viognier and Marlborough NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Then we will try the bio-dynamic Merlot, a Chilean Merlot suitable for vegans, and a Tempranillo with no added sulphate, to compare with a regular surprise Merlot and lovely regular Tempranillo from Spain. We will finish with a regular rosé, the wonderfully designed bottle of top Rosé de Provence, the choice of the manager!

Given that is 10 different wines there will be lots to try and much to discuss! This will be served with a hearty cheese and cold meat or fish platter with salads, pickles and fruits and our crusty French bread.
