Christmas and NYE at Gordon’s – December 2023
The excitement is mounting, the Prosecco abundant and our Christmas tree glowing.
We have some delicious new items on the menu. Our new trout, from Chalk Stream, is sustainably farmed on Hampshire chalk streams. The fish is lean, firm and gently smoked and the pâté is a particular favourite of ours. If you haven’t already tried it, you are in for a treat!
Your favourite winter warmer is also back, our baked cheese. This year with a great twist, we’ve taken our very popular and award winning Lord London cheese and added a splash of wine, garlic and thyme for a wonderful aromatic, oozing, melted goodness.
And of course, we have some great wines that will pair beautifully with both the trout and the baked cheese – our team will be happy to make recommendations. Why not try one of our spectacular specials from our blackboards? Or a magnum of Pommery Champagne, the prefect accompaniment to all the festive gatherings. Our Nero D’Avola Appassimento, with its Christmas cake spice aroma, has become a firm staple at this time of year!

We are also very much looking forward to New Year’s Eve. As always we will continue to operate on a first come, first served basis so for those wishing to enjoy the fireworks from our terrace we suggest arriving with time to spare.
This year there will also be strict pedestrian restrictions along Villiers Street from 10pm, so we strongly advise to arrive in the area before then, to avoid disappointment. Please make sure to refer to TfL for the latest travel information on the day.
